A non-profit based in Newark, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, and will be responsible for reviewing AP invoices, ensuring charges are applied to the correct GL accounts, process quarterly expenditure reports, tracking AR aging, recording cash, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with annual audits, monthly closes, and recording monthly revenues. The ideal Senior Accountant will have some recent experience working in the non-profit sector, and will be generally tech savvy and proficient with Excel.
